“We want our students to be trained from the beginning on how to think about doing well and doing good at the same time. David Swensen used to say that this is a wonderful career where you can make a lot of money by doing the right thing.”
— Tobias Moskowitz

Our approach is rigorous and practical
In this quantitatively intense nine-month program, you’ll receive training in all aspects of asset management, including investment selection, asset allocation, portfolio management, and risk management.
The curriculum, developed by the late David Swensen, Yale’s former chief investments officer and the pioneer of the “Yale Model,” and Professor Tobias Moskowitz, a principal at AQR Capital Management, combines academic theory and practice to help students understand how best to allocate resources.
